Best ED Clinics in DFW (2026)

Erectile dysfunction has four primary drivers — vascular, neurogenic, hormonal, and psychogenic — and most cases are mixed. The biggest predictor of treatment success isn't picking the right clinic; it's picking a clinic that figures out which drivers apply to you specifically before mapping treatment to cause. Here's how the DFW options compare on that diagnostic depth, plus the procedure-level differences that actually matter for outcomes.

Disclosure & TL;DR

This is an honest comparison written by the founder of Magnolia Men's Health. We obviously think Magnolia is the best fit for many DFW patients—we built it that way—but the round-up below describes other clinics fairly so you can pick what's right for you. No clinic on this list paid to be included or excluded.

Methodology

How we evaluated each clinic

  1. 01

    Diagnostic workup

Comprehensive cause-led workup (vascular, hormonal, neurogenic, psychogenic), or default PDE-5 prescription regardless of cause?

  2. 02

    Treatment menu breadth

Just oral medications, or full menu including shockwave, P-Shot, hormone optimization, intracavernosal options when needed?

  3. 03

    Cardiovascular workup

New-onset ED in men under 60 is often a vascular health signal—is the clinic working up cardiovascular risk at the same workup?

  4. 04

    Procedure quality (P-Shot, shockwave)

If procedures are offered, are they done by a physician with the relevant training, with proper PRP preparation and ultrasound guidance?

  5. 05

    Pricing transparency

    All-in pricing or à la carte add-ons?

  6. 06

    Realistic expectations setting

Does the clinic tell you honestly when you're a strong candidate vs. a marginal one?

The comparison

DFW ED clinic options worth comparing

Listed in no particular order. The model categories (telehealth, urology, dedicated ED, comprehensive men's health) each have different strengths.

Editor's Pick · Magnolia

Magnolia Men's Health

Southlake, TX · physician-owned · DFW metro

Physician-led ED program built around cause-led diagnosis: comprehensive workup of vascular, hormonal, neurogenic, and psychogenic drivers; cardiovascular risk profiling at the same workup (lipids, blood pressure, A1c, hsCRP); full treatment menu including PDE-5 medications, Softwave shockwave (6-session series, $1,800), the P-Shot (PRP injection, $1,700–$1,900), TRT for hormonally-driven cases, and behavioral support coordination for psychogenic components.

Strengths

  • Cause-led workup, not symptom-only treatment
  • Cardiovascular risk profiling at the same workup
  • Full treatment menu—not limited to oral meds
  • P-Shot and Softwave shockwave performed by the physician
  • Hormone optimization integrated, not referred out
  • Insurance accepted for the medical workup; procedures cash-pay

Considerations

  • Located in Southlake (22–35 min from Dallas/Fort Worth)
  • Surgical interventions (penile implant) referred to urology specialist when indicated

Forhims

National telehealth · ED-focused

Forhims is the largest national telehealth platform for ED medication. Lowest-friction access to sildenafil, tadalafil, and similar. Best for straightforward cases that respond to PDE-5 medication. Limited workup, no procedures, no hormone integration.

Strengths

  • Cheapest legitimate access to PDE-5 medications
  • Lowest-friction sign-up
  • Available across Texas

Considerations

  • No real workup—asynchronous form-based encounters
  • Cannot offer shockwave, P-Shot, or any in-clinic procedures
  • Doesn't address hormonal, neurogenic, or vascular causes systematically
  • No cardiovascular risk profiling

BlueChew

National telehealth · chewable PDE-5

BlueChew offers compounded chewable sildenafil and tadalafil through a national telehealth platform. Niche product, reasonable pricing. Same general limitations as other telehealth-only ED brands.

Strengths

  • Chewable formulation (preferred by some patients)
  • Subscription model with delivery
  • Reasonable pricing

Considerations

  • Single-product brand—medication only, no procedures or workup
  • Asynchronous physician encounters

Local DFW Urology Practices

Established urology groups across DFW

DFW has multiple established urology practices that offer ED treatment within a broader urology specialty practice. Excellent for men with primary urologic conditions, surgical needs (penile implant), or post-prostatectomy ED. Less optimized for wellness-style cause-led ED treatment in otherwise healthy men.

Strengths

  • Board-certified urologists with surgical training
  • Penile implant surgery available when indicated
  • Excellent for post-prostatectomy ED
  • Insurance-billing primary

Considerations

  • Hospital/large-practice pricing model
  • Wait times for new patient appointments
  • Generally don't offer shockwave or P-Shot
  • Less integrated with hormone optimization or men's wellness services

Dedicated ED 'GAINSWave' Clinics

Multiple branded shockwave clinics across DFW

GAINSWave is a marketing brand applied to low-intensity shockwave therapy at clinics that pay for the brand affiliation. The technology underneath is the same low-intensity shockwave used at Magnolia and others under the Softwave or generic LiESWT name. Typically priced higher due to brand markup. Limited additional services beyond shockwave.

Strengths

  • Single-procedure focus may mean operator experience volume
  • Visible national brand

Considerations

  • Brand markup—often higher pricing than generic Softwave/LiESWT
  • Limited service breadth
  • Often not physician-owned; medical oversight varies

What separates a good ED clinic from a default-prescription one

PDE-5 medication works in ~70–80% of men with mild-to-moderate vasculogenic ED. That's why telehealth ED works as a business model: most men respond to the cheap pill. The 20–30% who don't are the men where clinic quality matters.

If the cause is hormonal: low testosterone, high prolactin, or thyroid dysfunction. PDE-5 alone won't fix it. Hormone optimization addresses the root cause.

If the cause is vascular and the standard PDE-5 dose isn't enough: shockwave therapy, the P-Shot, or both layered together can produce meaningful improvement in tissue quality and microvessel density. PDE-5 still has a role but isn't doing all the work alone.

If the cause is neurogenic (post-prostatectomy, spinal, advanced diabetic): a urology referral for more aggressive interventions including intracavernosal injections and (rarely) penile implant.

If the cause is psychogenic: brief situational PDE-5 use to break the anxiety loop, plus therapy referral. Sometimes that's all that's needed.

Most cases are mixed. The right ED clinic figures out which drivers apply to you and treats the actual mechanism — not just the symptom.

Where Magnolia fits

If your ED is straightforward and PDE-5 medication alone is likely to work: Forhims is honestly the cheapest legitimate option. If you have a primary urologic condition or are a surgical candidate: a DFW urology group. If you want comprehensive cause-led ED workup with the full procedure menu (shockwave, P-Shot, hormone optimization) under one roof: Magnolia is built exactly for that.
