IV / NAD+ for Fort Worth

Why Fort Worth men drive east for this care.

Fort Worth has a deep medical community but limited physician-owned men's health options. Most clinics here are franchise operations with a remote medical director and corporate protocols. Magnolia is different—physician-owned, physician-run, and every plan is built or reviewed by an active DFW hospitalist physician.

We regularly see IV / NAD+ patients from Westover Hills, Rivercrest, Mira Vista, Tanglewood, Park Hill, Arlington Heights, Ridgmar, the Cultural District, the TCU area, downtown Fort Worth, Far North Fort Worth, Alliance, Heritage. The first visit is free—on-site testosterone test, body composition scan, and 15 minutes with the medical director. No card on file required.

IV therapy, with honest indications.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme involved in mitochondrial energy production and DNA repair. Levels decline with age. IV NAD+ delivers a high-dose bolus that supports cellular energy, mental clarity, and recovery. The strongest evidence is for mitochondrial dysfunction, post-viral fatigue, addiction recovery support, and pre-event energy. We position NAD+ as a recovery and energy tool, not a longevity miracle—the science doesn't support the influencer pitch on that front.

Other IV therapies include the Myers cocktail (B-vitamins, magnesium, calcium, vitamin C) for general recovery; high-dose vitamin C (10–25g) for immune support; glutathione (the body's master antioxidant); and post-event recovery blends. We don't offer 'hangover IVs' as a marketing gimmick—if you're chronically dehydrated from drinking, the issue isn't a $200 IV.

Push vs. drip: NAD+ push (rapid IV over 5–15 minutes) delivers higher concentration faster but is more intense and can cause flushing or chest tightness. Drip (slow infusion over 1–2 hours) is gentler with similar end-state benefits. We default to drip for first-time patients and use push for veterans who tolerate it. Loading phase (5–10 sessions over 2–3 weeks) for specific symptoms; maintenance (1 session per month to every 3 months) for ongoing optimization.

FAQ for Fort Worth IV / NAD+ patients

Common questions, honestly answered.

What does NAD+ actually do?
NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in mitochondrial energy production and DNA repair. Levels decline with age. IV NAD+ delivers a high-dose bolus that supports cellular energy, mental clarity, and recovery. Strongest evidence is for mitochondrial dysfunction, post-viral fatigue, and addiction recovery support. We don't position it as a longevity miracle — the science doesn't support that framing.
Push vs. drip — what is the difference?
Push (rapid IV over 5–15 minutes) delivers higher concentration faster but is more intense and can cause flushing. Drip (slow infusion over 1–2 hours) is gentler with similar end-state benefits. We default to drip for first-time patients; push works well for veterans who tolerate it.
How often should I do NAD+?
Loading phase: 5–10 sessions over 2–3 weeks if you have specific symptoms (post-viral fatigue, brain fog, energy crash). Maintenance: 1 session per month to every 3 months. We do not recommend weekly indefinitely — diminishing returns and unnecessary cost.
How far is the clinic from Fort Worth, TX?
Our office is at 2111 Kirkwood Blvd, Suite 110a, Southlake, TX 76092 — about 22–35 minutes from Fort Worth via SH 121 N and SH 114 E. The first visit is free and takes 15 minutes.
Why drive to Southlake when there are clinics in Fort Worth?
Most chain IV / NAD+ clinics are franchise operations with a remote medical director who never sees the patient. Magnolia is physician-owned, physician-run, and every plan is built or reviewed by Dr. Farhan Abdullah, DO — a board-certified internal medicine physician and active DFW hospitalist. Fort Worth patients who switch to us almost always tried two or three local clinics first.
Do you offer telehealth follow-ups for Fort Worth patients?
Yes. After the initial in-person workup, most ongoing care for Fort Worth patients runs through telehealth: labs at any Quest or LabCorp near you, video visits with the medical director, and medications shipped directly. We need you in-person again only for procedures or annual physical examination.
